The Academy has released the list of songs eligible for this year's Best Original Song category. There are 39 total songs, representing 30 films. By the rules the Academy set out a few years ago, the maximum nods any single film can score is 2, after films such as Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Dreamgirls, and Enchanted all scored 3. The last film to score 2 was The Princess and the Frog back in 2009. Personally, I'm rooting hardcore for a song from The Muppets to take this one. Here are this year's finalists...
