The Golden Satellite Awards were handed out by the International Press Academy, and several films made decent splashes. THE DESCENDANTS took the top prize, as well as adapted screenplay, while DRIVE was the largest winner of the day, taking awards for Director, Actor, Supporting Actor & Sound. Other winners included The Tree of Life with 2, and The Artist, War Horse, and Hugo, among others, all scooping up a win.
