A few surprises here and there this morning. Obviously the love for An Education was strong enough to extend beyond the obvious Carey Mulligan nod, but the mentions for The Last Station were a surprise to me. Although considering Christopher Plummer still has 0 Oscar nominations, I wouldn't mind seeing his name called this year. Also, for anyone who called Diane Kruger for Basterds for Supporting, I tip my hat to you. What a time to get your 1st real mention of the year, at the SAGs!!! The only other BIG surprise to me was "Up in the Air" NOT NOMINATED FOR ENSEMBLE, even with it's 3 leads nominated.
