124 films were originally submitted for consideration. From that massive bundle, the Academy has narrowed down the finalist list to 15 documentaries still in the race for Best Documentary Feature. The final 5 nominees will be chosen from this shortlist by Documentary branch members. Of the five films that found themselves in the Best Doc category from the Producers Guild, 4 of them (
