2017 Oscars -- FOREIGN LANGUAGE FILM finalists down to 9

The shortlist of 9 finalists has been revealed for the Foreign Language Film category. The one glaring omission in BPM (Beats Per Minute), which not snubbed to even make this stage. Big surprise considering how largely it's played into the critics groups this year.

But the 9 finalists, from which we will get our 5 nominees, are....

• In the Fade -- Germany
• The Insult -- Lebanon
• Loveless -- Russia
• On Body and Soul -- Hungary
• The Square -- Sweden
